Rich people have more of their money as assets than liquid cash. You are poor if you think that keeping large amounts of cash in the bank is what makes you rich. The rich constantly convert their cash to appreciable assets. Like getting a land, a house, gold, stocks etc.
Forbes evaluate the wealth of Gates and Zuckerberg not by how much money they have in the bank but by their assets(stocks, shares, companies, brand value, intellectual value, real estate, etc). It’s safe to say that the very rich don’t have alot of money in the banks. They own the banks.
Always convert your cash into assets and keep only what you want for your day to day expenses.
